Consumer Reports Rates Satellite And Cable

According to this TV News Website, Consumer Reports has just published their ratings for satellite TV and cable TV companies.

Verizon’s new fiber-optic service, FiOS comes in number one for customer satisfaction with DirecTV coming in at number 3 three and Dish Network at number 4.

I’ve heard some positive things recently about DirecTV’s customer service and support and it looks like they are being rewarded for that with a nice rating from Consumer reports.

Not surprisingly, Comcast comes in at number 12. Comcast is the company that offers cable TV and high-speed Internet service in my area. In fact, where I live it is the only choice for high-speed Internet and since I am a customer, I understand why they didn’t make it into the top 10 on Consumer Reports’ ratings.

    Comcast has the worst customer service anywhere. People who don’t care, hour long wait times on the phone I don’t know how they stay in business. All of the people who deal with the customers ct very ignore. They have no regard for your time, schedule service calls then don’t show, no call or explanation. They will mot continue to be my cable company
